The CARE Academy enjoyed today's beautiful weather running around a well-versed community park. Students had a lot of fun engaging with one another and their staff members. They practiced taking turns and playing appropriately. Remarkable experience!

Holiday luncheon with staff, students and families. So awesome to have our students be joined by their families for a wonderful lunch here at REACH academy! Thank you to all staff who helped serve our students and families. Parents/ guardians thank you for supporting your kiddos and engaging with their peers showing lots of love all around the room! Here at REACH, we are one big family as a whole.

Students got to go out into the community to another school for a book fair. Students were able to explore many different books with their peers and staff. Attached is a photo of one of the kiddos paying for his books. So cool!

Students worked very hard and hard work always pays off.
I wanted to share with you what the Social Studies classes in the therapeutic academy are working on this week. We are learning about world geography and to identify the 7 continents. Students worked in small groups at station activities. This included hands-on activities such as putting together a puzzle and then labeling the continents on a worksheet. As well as a scavenger hunt to find continents and countries on an interactive digital map.
