Kaplan on the Radio
Ms. Jennifer Miller (Assistant Principal), Mrs. Alexandra DelValle (PTO Parent) and Mr. Jay Posephney (Principal) were invited to do an interview with local radio stations to talk about Kaplan's program and to promote "Project Playground".
"Project Playground" is a SEPTSA initiative to try to raise the money to fund the completion of the school's two play areas.
Kaplan Academy was originally based in New Windsor, a large campus with a huge outdoor green space in addition to the school building. When we could no longer use the building and property, we moved the operation to Wappingers Falls, a much larger building but without a gym or green space.
The two playground areas will be adding a safe place for our elementary student to play and get fresh air.
Hopefully, this spot will help get the word out and raise community awareness of our program and help us find sponsors for our playgrounds.
