Yesterday, our GA Summer School Tour took its path to the north! Our students were able to experience a gem of the Mid-Hudson Valley. We were fortunate to get the chance to visit Storm King Art Center! One of the premiere sculpture gardens of the world! Joy, our docent provided for us, was truly wonderful! She engaged our students in some wonderful artistic analyses of some of the works we viewed. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful place! I know we will certainly return in the future.

GA students have undertaken a Hygiene Drive to help those in need. Here are pics of some of the collection boxes they put together, as well as two of the students putting together hygiene bags to distribute. Great work GA students! How they find the time for this and so many field trips is a mystery!! No time to rest!
Cheer on our very own Chris Popotte! He is playing in an exclusive basketball tournament this weekend. He will be joining a talented group of scholastic athletes from across the state! Chris is truly an elite player and we wish him all the luck we can give! Go ahead Chris!! You earned this moment! Now get the rest!
GA had a school community wide splasherrific BBQ today! So many people to thank for this great event today! In particular, thank you to Ms. Green for some fantastic cooking, and thank you Ms. Adams for an incredibly set-up event! I know all of the students (and staff!) enjoyed it. Wonderful efforts all around!!
GA Summer School Tour with yet another rewarding trip to the Bronx Zoo! Mr. Camaj has been cycling through the student body making sure all of our students have the opportunity to experience our local expression of wildlife. Where to next??
GA Summer School returns to Tibbetts Pool in Westchester! As usual, there were plenty of smiles all around. Our students really do know how to have a great time! No trips tomorrow, instead we have a campus wide barbecue complete with water slide! There will be pictures! Keep an eye on this space!

Friday, Mr. Federice brought some of our students out onto the Hudson! Big thank yous to the auxiliary Coast Guard stationed here in Westchester County! It was a hot day, but I am told there were no complaints to Old Man Hudson. The Greenburgh Academy Summer School adventure continues!

Our students enjoy some time with the great folks at Pegasus Therapeutic Riding. Equestrian therapy has a proven record in helping individuals with disabilities. Here is one of our students caring for the animal, and a second picture of that animal returning the favor with a loving cuddle.
