Dear GNC UFSD Community,
As we approach the halfway point of the fiscal year, I am continually inspired by the accomplishments and spirit of our students, faculty, and entire community.
This year has already been filled with successes across the District, to name a few:
The successful relocation of
Kaplan Career Academy to Wappingers Falls NY.
Another successful
Harvest Festival at REACH Academy.
The exciting addition of
Unified Flag Football, JV Basketball and Spirit Squad to our sports program.
A revamped transition department across the District, including the integration of eDynamic software, and the year two cohort of the
Veterinary Assistant certification program at Kenneth Clark Academy.
Another successful cohort of
AP Art Students at Greenburgh Academy.
These achievements are a testament to the hard work and talent of our student body and the fine academic and therapeutic work done by our dedicated faculty.
In addition to these program successes, we saw a historic number of holiday meals served to families in need-a true reflection of the compassion that defines the GNCUFSD faculty who spearheaded that initiative.
A Season of Support and Patience
As we enter the height of the holiday season, please keep in mind the many stressors that our community may be faced with. It is a time to find the strength to show patience and the humility to ask for help. Together, the GNC UFSD school community can overcome any challenges we are faced with.
