Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports (PBIS)

Our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program is designed to create a safe, positive, and supportive school environment. It’s more than a rewards system—it’s a way to help students thrive in every area: academics, behavior, social-emotional development, and even mental health. PBIS is proven to:

• Improve students’ academic performance

• Foster better social-emotional skills

• Create a positive school climate

• Boost teacher well-being

Our program helps students stay motivated and engaged, while making our school a place where everyone feels welcome and safe. Earn ACT Rewards: We believe in celebrating students’ success, good behavior, and teamwork. Here’s how our rewards break down:

• Achievement: Success achieved through effort and skill.

• Conduct: Positive behavior in all settings.

• Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with others.

How it Works: PBIS Rewards Friday

Every Friday during 7th and 8th periods, students can redeem their PBIS points for exciting rewards. Each classroom will be called in order, and students have 15 minutes to visit the PBIS Store and choose their rewards! Items include:

• Homework passes

• Snacks & treats

• Movie tickets

• Hygiene kits

• Headphones

• Trips, like hiking adventures!

It’s a fun and exciting way to end the week, rewarding students for their hard work and positive contributions!

You’ll be able to track your child’s progress too! QR badges can be mailed or sent digitally. Download the LiveSchool App: The LiveSchool App is the perfect companion to PBIS.
