Medical and Health Services
The Valhalla campus has an infirmary that is overseen by a registered nurse. The students in the Reach program receive primary care from a licensed pediatric adolescent specialist. The campus infirmary is staffed by registered and licensed practical nurses. Doctors provide students with primary care; nurses are available for basic first aid and for medication distribution. As part of this specialized program, there is a full time nurse who provides specialized nursing care to the students in the program, including assessing emergencies and providing feedback to psychiatrists. Part time psychiatrists provide assessment and ongoing medication management. When necessary, students are sent to local hospitals for emergency treatment and to specialists at local clinics.
