Career and Technical Education

Greenburgh Academy (GA) is committed to preparing students for post-secondary placements that include college, vocational training, armed services, and/or employment. A variety of Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities are available at GA.

An articulation agreement with Westchester County Community College (WCCC) provides students with college credit courses (8 credits) to prepare them for a career in the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). All courses are offered at GA by WCCC instructors. Students who successfully complete the eight credit program earn certification as a First Responder.

A one semester Customer Service program is offered to students at GA. The program is for students earning either a Local Diploma or IEP Diploma. The focus of the program is to prepare students for a career in the many career opportunities related to customer service. The customer service curriculum is implemented in both the classroom and community.
